we got this box from a produce stand spray painted it
black then made a stencile for the beware. I think it
turned out pretty good.

I was bored waiting for kids to come so I was chasing Trish
around the yard while she was taking pictures.

Our son is coming for you. He had fun this year he got
out in the yard with me and was scaring kids and adults
as they would walk up in to the yard

I made Jonah take his red and blue shirt off and use his white shirt while the photographer went out to help other customers. I really wanted a picture of the 2 of them.

We took Danielle in to get her 3 year old pictures done at JcPenney's. I was surprised when Ben said to the lady taking pictures that he wished we could bring in our camera, she said go for it. Her are some of the pictures we took. Pictures she took will be back in 10 days!

Jonah's 1st day in the 7th grade was yesterday. He was so happy to be going back to school!!

Last year I was looking through the college summer guide for Chattanooga State and found a camp I thought Jonah might like. It was Lego Robotic Camp and it was for the last week in July. Thought this would be a great way to get him out of the house and have fun for a few hours. They teach the kids to build something out of legos, motors, and computer programs. 1st the kids have to build an item, like a vehicle, then they have to program it on the computer to do something like drive in a square shape, then they see if it works. If it doesn't work then they have to reprogram it and so on. Everyday he was ready a few hours early. He couldn't wait to go back. Next year he really wants to do the script writing class, well he wanted to do it this year, but he had to be 13.

This was our last attempt to have a family day before Jonah headed back to school. We decided to head downtown to try Chazzy Dogs and play in the water in front of the aquarium. Chazzy Dogs is a hot dog stand, of course, you can choose from a Nathan's beef hot dog or a 1/4 pound beef hot dog. They were only $2.50 or $3 and came with all the toppings you could want, even chilli and cheese, at no extra cost. They even gave the kids free drinks. Then we headed over to the aquarium. It has a little water way in front of it and wraps around the building. It was built for looks, but the kids love it and it's free. Jonah and Danielle played for about an hour. It was a fun day!

Then all of a sudden there were 5!
Boy did they like him!

On Monday, when we were still in Jacksonville, I took the kids to the zoo. Wow what a zoo. It took us over 5 hours to see almost all of it. We missed a few animals, but saw most everything. I haven't been to a zoo this big in a long time. Yes it is smaller than the Omaha zoo, but 10 times of the size of our small zoo. It's even larger then the Seattle zoo and the Tacoma zoo put together. We had a great time. We had lunch at the Jaguar exhibit, which has windows that look out into the jaguars. We watched the male Jaguar get up and seem very mad. Close up pictures I took, there was a snake up on the rock wall. He didn't like it being there and growled, snarled, flipped his tail and even kicked his hind legs out. It was fun to watch.

On Tuesday we went home. It was a great short trip. Can't wait to return in October, this time taking Ben for his 1st trip to Florida.
